President Jean Geiger called the meeting to order at 7:04pm.
Approximately 21 people attended.
Officer’s Reports:
- Dave Leroy, Treasurer: Dave stated that the ski trips are filling fast and the vacancies were recently published in the Easy Glider. He assures us there is lots of money in the treasury due to ski trip deposits.
- Andrea Hospodar, Extended Trips: Andrea reviewed the trips that still had vacancies and encouraged people to get their deposits in.
- Cheryl Capitani, Programs: Cheryl stated that the date for the social at the Airport Inn, Lancaster was changed to 11/14/12. She talked about the upcoming program on 12/4/12 featuring Steve Runkle and his hike at Lake Louise. Also, don’t forget the Holiday Party on Wednesday, December 19 at The Stine’s!
There was no OLD BUSINESS or NEW BUSINESS to discuss.
Program: Cheryl Capitani introduced Peggy and Ben May who gave a presentation featuring slides from their 3-week walking tour of New Zealand’s South Island. Beautiful scenery, great program.
