Business Meetings, Socials & Summer Activities
- Annual Board Meeting will be conducted virtually in November. The meeting may be open to the full membership.
- Election and Trip Planning Meeting will be held in-person in April.
- Socials and other activities will be scheduled as people volunteer to lead them, with a mix of lunch and dinner meetings to be scheduled. Email the Events Coordinator if you would like to host a lunch or dinner in your area. Please look for locations that will do separate checks for our group.
- Summer Activities will be held as members volunteer to lead them, under the leadersip of Program Coordinator Jamie Hackman.
Fall & Winter Meetings and Activities
October 30, 10:00 am – Middle Creek Hike and Lunch
Meet Jamie Hackman at the White Oak Picnic Area at Middle Creek for a hike, followed by lunch at a local restaurant, TBD.
The hike will be to a new viewing area and then along the lake and back to the parking lot after which we will cross the road and hike the Millstone Trail. The first part of the hike has little elevation change but does have a lot of tree roots and bridges. (Good to have hiking poles.) The second part is uphill to a ridgeline and then back down again, passing the millstone at the top of the hill. Total mileage is approximately 2.5 miles. There would also be an opportunity to hike to Willow Point, which is a paved trail to the lake.
Please wear your hunter orange as this is state gameland and it is now required for everyone to wear it.
