Kick N Gliders Membership Meeting – April 2, 2024

Vice President, Fred Burgess called the meeting to order at 6:31 pm.
Approximately 19 people attended.

Officer”s Reports:

  • President: Gary Musser, absent
  • Vice President: Fred Burgess, no report
  • Treasurer: Bill Hoffman announced he has trip refund checks tonight. All trips broke even or made a profit.  The club has $18,939.75 in the treasury.
  • Secretary: Marilyn Grove, nothing to report.
  • Webmaster: Bill Stine, absent
  • Membership/Newsletter Editor/Publisher: Nancy Kauhl states the next issue to the Easy Glider will have the last trip reports and tonight’s election results.
  • Trip Coordinator: David Walborn/Jamie Hackman, nothing to report
  • Programs: Ed Cook announced the next social on 4/17/24 at the Blue Bird in Cornwall at 6:30pm.

Old Business:
The Executive Board met via zoom on 3/22/24 and voted to eliminate membership/business in person meetings except for trip planning/elections meeting and beginning of season fall meeting. Half of the social meetings will be lunch gatherings and half will be scheduled in the evening. Summer activities will remain.

New Business:
Election of officers was carried out with the following slate of officers:

  • Membership: Nancy Kauhl

Bill Hoffman made a motion to close, seconded by Sandy Stine. Everyone was in favor.

Program:
Trip Planning – We planned 10 tentative trips. Mike McMullen will send out an email with a link to the trip calendar.
