Plains of Abraham

Enjoy winter sports for free in an accessible and enchanting location with a spectacular view of the Saint-Lawrence River. The Plains of Abraham provides 13.9 km of ski trails laid out for beginner and intermediate cross-country skiers, a 3.8 km trail (round trip) for snowshoeing, and 6.7 km of walking trails. A waxing room and two heated rest areas are also available.

Camp-Mercier

Camp Mercier is renowned as an excellent cross country skiing and snowshoeing centre. Set in Laurentides wildlife reserve, it is certainly one of the snowiest cross country skiing centers in the country! It offers classic and skate skiers and snowshoers a wide variety of trails along with a very long season, gorgeous scenery and unparalleled views! At Camp Mercier, less than an hour from the city of Quebec, the cross country skiing and snowshoeing season even lasts into April!

Parc Du Mont Ste-Anne

Trail network 184 km for classical stride, 176 km for skating. Trail breakdown 9 double-tracked trails, 1 single-tracked trails, 18 skating trails, 19 classic trails and 1 backcountry trail. Level of difficulty 23% easy, 42% difficult, 35% very difficult. Natural snowfall 495cm [195 inches]. Season End of November to end of March [weather permitting]. Waxing room Accommodating up to 75 people simultaneously. Lodges: Chalet du rang St-Julien Located at entrance of cross-country trail network. Features a lunch counter, a lounge with fireplace and a large waxing room.

Station Touristique Duchesnay

Skiers appreciate the top-notch trails of the Station Duchesnay. They are well maintained and patrolled. The network of 47 km of linear trails are divided into circuits of 35 km for classic skiing and 12 km for skate skiing. Services available include 4 wood-heated huts, a well-equipped ski centre, Equipment rental and a ski school.

Charlesbourg’s Cross-Country Ski Centre: 375 rue de L’Aventure Quebec, Qc G2M1N3; 418-849-9054. Trails: Total: 30 km; 2 heated shelters. Hiking trails 18 km. Snowshoeing 15 km. Services: Chalet, waxing room, restaurant, ski shop and rentals, ski lessons, guided tours Friday evenings. Rental shelters.

Rivire-Saint-Charles Linear

This track offers 8.6 km of easy-level classic cross-country skiing . The track is simple (one way) unidirectional (anti-clockwise) and is maintained daily by our teams. A cross-country ski equipment rental service is available. In the middle of the course, the house Dorion-Coulombe allows skiers to enjoy a coffee service to warm up while visiting this heritage house and its exhibitions. Use the free parking of the Pointe-aux-Lièvres sports site. Note that parking is limited to two hours Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 18:00.

Centre de ski de fond de Val-Bélair

This site offers you 27 km of tracks maintained and patrolled. There are also trails for snowshoeing and hiking. By borrowing them, you will discover the well-kept secret of this place: Mount Belair with its 485 meters of altitude, one of the highest in the region!

Centre Castor

Open to the general public with classic style and skating circuits for both the beginner and the expert. Its 95 km trails are marked for both types of skiing: skating and classic. In addition, the center offers rentals. There is also a large wax room.
